Hundres & Thousands = Sprinkles.
You mean jimmies?
I worked at a Baskin Robbins for a few years in the '80s. Every once in a while, someone would come in and ask for "jimmies" on something, and I'd just look at him/her like he/she had two heads.
What the heck are you guys talking about? I've never heard sprinkles called anything other than sprinkles.
French vanilla, rocky road, chocolate, peanut butter, cookie dough!
Whoomp! There it is!
What the heck are you guys talking about? I've never heard sprinkles called anything other than sprinkles.
If you enter "jimmies" into Wikipedia, it redirects to the article titled "Sprinkles." The article says that the origin of "jimmies" is uncertain/disputed and also seems to indicate that the term is limited to chocolate sprinkles.
"Hundreds and thousands" sounds silly and is needlessly cumbersome.
