I'm sorry about getting this out so late. There's so much music here to listen to, and then there's other things I wanna do on top of that... I'll get Hangmanen up at some point today, making that list should be less time-consuming. Well, anyway, here's my first impressions. Like before, some vague stuff, some hints.

1. Good stuff overall. I think James LaBrie's singing might've been influenced by this...
2. Some rather good, somewhat grandiose music.
3. Very enjoyable stuff overall!
4. Okay music so far, but this could grow on me.
5. Can't say it didn't bore me occasionally, but there is some good stuff here.
6. A lot of the harsh vocals feel unnecessary, but disregarding that, there's some interesting stuff here.
7. Liking this one, even if there's occasionally some questionable decisions made with these songs.
8. One of the more impressive bands I've heard this round.
9. I'm sorry, but if I gave my first impressions, I'd give away which submission I'm talking about.
10. Don't know what to think of this one beyond "it sounds nice".
11. I think I'm finally starting to "get" this band.
12. A lot more "casual" than what I'm used to, but it's alright.
13. I quite like this, though compared to a certain other band, [REDACTED] does it better.
14. A much better experience than the last time I tried to listen to these guys.
15. If anyone ever tells me that The Ministry of Lost Souls "should've been a 4-minute song", I will write a 100-word essay on why you are wrong.
16. Kinda reminds me of Nightwish in some ways.

Also kid, no need to kill yourself trying to keep up with the pace you thought you'd be able to.  I'm sure most of us would rather you spend enough time with the tunes to be sure of your opinions and thoughts about them, vs adhering to your self-imposed schedule.  This is a metric shit-ton of music you're taking in, for a guy who's starting from a very limited repertoire to begin with.  If the rounds push longer than 1 week, so be it.
