Nancy Davis being the blowjob queen was common knowledge in Hollywood. She was a part of the studio system, and she fit in well. The contemporary opinions were that she was good at it and she enjoyed it. Made her a natural to cater to studio bigwigs and out of town VIPs. More power to her.

Let that sink in.

Apparently she did.

Not a pic or video though I wish it existed.

I was just watching CBC Ottawa news and they were leading into a story about Les Emerson passing away.  He was an Ottawa native. So. While talking about the upcoming story and how influential Les was with his classic song “Signs” they ran a video of him singing his famous song. My wife is like “boy Les sure does look an awful lot like Tesla”

What a screw up (it was absolutely Tesla!)
Classic Ottawa news.
Take care everyone - Bet you all didn't even notice I was gone.

Happy Lives to you all.

I hate sequels.

2020 = 2020
2021 = 2020 won, continuation of the saga.
2022 = 2020 II, humanity tries to get revenge, but 2020 has something else in mind.

So Andy Cohen was drunk during the CNN NYE, and he went off about the now former NYC mayor

Andy Cohen was just hilarious last night. I watched some snippets after laughing at those two above drunken moments of his.

One was after taking shots for Betty White and then they started chatting more and showed footage of Anthony Cooper jet-skiing and Andy says, "Look how white he is. Have you ever seen a whiter person?" I just laughed and said, damn, If there is a time to watch CNN it would've been last night just for Andy letting it all out there, especially when he gets wasted. You could see how he was just letting loose and feeling "good"  :lol

Andy and Anderson have the best new years special IMO. They just get hammered on live TV and talk shit.

Honestly, didn't watch even five seconds of any New Year's show.  My wife and I were binging on "Yellowstone"; at about 12:05 or so I went to get a glass of water and realized it was 2022; I leaned over, kissed her, said "Happy New Years!" and went back to the Dutton Ranch.

I was keeping an eye on the clock as I binged Cobra kai...at midnight I went outside and watched my knucklehead neighbors fire off illegal fireworks for a few minutes, then went back inside. (they fire off full mortars in a suburb...half of me just wanted to make sure they didn't light the house on fire)

I have, to the best of my recollection, never watched any NYE show.  The arbitrary changing of calendars has always perplexed me as a cause for celebration (although, I believe it was the first NYE after I turned 21 that I stayed at a friend's house and got shit-faced drunk and went outside at midnight and blared Anthrax's A.I.R. on my car stereo).

People were shooting off artillery around 9pm and scaring the crap out of our dog.  I was in bed by 11:30 but I unfortunately was not yet asleep when midnight and a new round of mortar fire started.

I have never watched any of those NYE shows either. When I was in my 20s, I loved going out on NYE. I hated that the cover charges were jacked up that night, but our favorite club was within spitting distance of the Space Needle, so at 11:58 we could go outside, watch the firework show, then head back in for more boozing. In my 40s it is a chore to stay up till midnight, which my kid now insists we all do.

My girlfriend and I watched, I think, the last minute or two of the NYE thing just so we knew when the ball dropped. Then we kissed, realized we were old, and went to bed.

One benefit of being on the West Coast is that we can watch the Times Square ball drop at 9:00p, pretend it is the new year, and call it a night.

I don't like the NYE shows either as a whole.  But we usually tune in a few minutes before midnight to watch the ball drop and count down together.  Then we turn it off, usually start of the new year with a prayer, and then turn back to whatever festivities we were previously engaged in.

I would buy that car sight unseen for cash money.  Holy shit.  If that's a woman driving, I'm leaving my wife.
