You know what you won't see posted in here. ANYTHING written, spoken or produced by Trevor Noah. I mean seriously, is there anything that guys says or does that even remotely comes close to being funny? Don't think too hard I have the answer for you....it's NO.....absolutely not.

I find Trevor Noah to only be tolerable when he's not presenting The Daily Show. I like him when he's not doing that whole schtick.

I mean, he'll never be close to Stewart, but he has his moments. I do appreciate his commentary as well, I do find him very well spoken.

His stand up is very good.  It's somewhat political but not as much as the TV show.

I'll admit that I haven't watched a ton of his stuff because the times I have seen him I've found him incredibly boring....not even close to being humorous and his 'insights' or commentary to be rudimentary at best.

I have no idea who he is.  I googled him and still don't know (although he seemingly has a pretty hot girlfriend).

Pre Covid, he was decently funny.  Without an audience though, it all seemed pretty lame/forced/un-funny (for the most part).

The best thing about The Daily Show is Jordan Klepper's segments.  Man that guys is sharp.

So maybe you must possess knowledge of a) ancient Egypt and 2) dice games in order to understand that? Cause I don't get it.

Ancient Egyptian knowledge helps, but mostly knowledge of how DnD works. In other words, you have to be a massive nerd, like me.  :)

Yeah, definitely having an intimate familiarity with that helps.

You know, I played a lot of D&D when I was in public school - had a ton of maps, manuals, and figurines that I’d painted.  Would love it if I had the time to do that again. Maybe when I retire!  That’d be a helluva hobby.

I remember d&d being a big thing when I was growing up but none of my friends were in to it, so it was never anything I was interested in.

I played D&D when I was in elementary school, but then I moved to a new state and in middle school and high school there wasn't anyone that played D&D, but there were a lot that played MTG, so I got into that pretty heavily, in between playing for the Baseball and Basketball teams and joining the Chess club  :P I was all over the place in High School.  :lol

I was big into it as a kid, then had another go as a young adult with some other culinary peeps. Those games were interesting, massive amounts of booze and weed, with a touch of chemical enhancements to make the game last hours and hours. Hoo boy was that shit interesting.

Same!  Back in the day, I wrote an adventure based on Helloween's Keeper of the Seven Keys.  I wish I still had it.

My daughter started playing with some friends when she was in 8th grade.  She used my dice, and I bought her the Player's Handbook.  But they stopped over the summer between 8th grade and high school and never went back.
