Bits of tid:
I must say that I wasn’t expecting this genre of music mixed with orchestral instruments in this round. It also feels a little long winded.
The person who I was expecting to send this band didn’t. This song may be the closest to what I had in mind for this round but it also has its work cut out for it with the strong competition here.
This is quite easily the best song you have sent me so far. I feel this nails the theme, it’s epic and the vocals remind of [insert band name], I’m not sure if that’s intentional, because you know I like the band, or not.
The build in the second half of the song is great but I’m not sure the climax is enough of a pay off at this point.
Hard to say much, on first impressions, that isn’t centered around those vocals. I could see them being very polarizing.
I think this misses the mark when it comes to the theme but it’s a nice enough song, the vocals are probably the highlight.
This is like an orchestral [insert band name] song, due to the vocals, with a kind of trip hop beat. Quite an odd mix but it is working for me.
I find this quite beautiful and I could see myself singing along to this. I don’t find the orchestral element adds a great deal, for the majority of the song, and I could see myself still liking this even without it.
There are times when I love the vocals in this and also times that I don’t so much. This is going to take some listens as I’m not really sure where I stand at this point.
The music definitely takes me somewhere and conjures certain images in my head.
I’ve been aware of [insert name] for a number of years but I think is my first time listening. I’d say this is a bit of a gamble, which I respect, and I’m not sure it fits the theme so well for me.
