Quick question about the orchestral round (which I'm sure you would've cleared up by the time the round comes but w/e)

Does it count too if the orchestra is programmed, like the outro of Native Construct - Passage for instance

Yea dude, I'll allow that. I think my love of orchestral music comes from a combination of movie scores (Star Wars and all the big John Williams scores), Nobuo Uematsu's Distant Worlds albums (Final Fantasy music performed on the scale of a movie score, he's actually referred to as the John Williams of video game music) and Metallica's S&M album. If you want an idea of what I want then check out the links I'll post in a minute.

These are perfect examples of what I'm looking for. I'll totally accept live versions with an orchestra. I know on the bonus disc of Opeth's new album they have some live tracks with an orchestra so there are bound to be plenty of bands that have done it that you could send. Any of the rest of you guys love what an orchestra can add to music like this?
