Very well.
10. Circle Takes the Square - As the Roots Undo: These guys have gotten a lot of hate from most of the DTFers I've shown them to, mainly for the vocals and the bizarre (and unfortunate) prejudice that exists against hardcore/screamo in general. That said, As the Roots Undo is easily one of the greatest albums ever, and I wish I could put it higher. Psychotic guitar runs, brilliant drumming, hectic back-and-forth male/female vocal lines, fantastic songwriting with wonderfully organic song structures, gorgeous lyrics... the list of reasons for why this album is amazing goes on. It's really a must listen for any fan of experimental and heavy music.
9. Agalloch - The Mantle: I honestly am at a loss for words about this album. It's atmospheric, heavy at times, soft at others, but always a bleak and beautiful journey.
