Never heard it.

I just looked, I might be confusing Signum Regis and Golden Erection. That label had a bunch of bands with the same members but different band names. Liljegren. I'll revisit them, I'm curious now. You like PelleK?

For Friday releases today, I've already picked up:

Fluisteraars - De Kronieken van het Verdwenen Kasteel I: Harslo  (unfortunately just a 2 song EP, hopefully a full album is on the way)
Pressure Points - The Island
Downfall of Gaia - Silhouettes of Disgust
M83 - Fantasy
Kamelot - The Awakening (might actually be their best album since Black Halo)
RPWL - Crime Scene
Redemption - I Am the Storm (not really sure why I bother with this band anymore....)
Invent Animate - Heavener (some incredible Post-Hardcore/Metalcore with some Djenty stuff mixed in, a massive improvement to their already pretty good previous album)

Overall great day for music releases!

Is this a new EP? I'm not seeing it in tomorrow's releases...

Marianas Rest and Floor Jansen for me.

Really enjoyed the last Marianas Rest, so I'm curious about this one...

Speaking of gloomy death/doom, a couple more releases to check out tomorrow:

Shores of Null
Hanging Garden

Also tomorrow

Keep of Kalessin - Katharsis (first album in 8 years, hopefully better than their last 2 albums)
August Burns Red - Death Below
Liturgy - 93696 (although I'm not expecting much after the crap-fest that was Origin of the Alimonies, although it seems every other album they do is good, so...)
Depeche Mode - Memento Mori (not really sure what to expect from this, they haven't had a good album since Playing the Angel)

That's right, Depeche Mode! Will definitely check it out. And I generally agree with you...Playing the Angel was very, very good...the stuff after it was kind of...there...

A lot of these releases are posted in that thread. I see the stickied thread as being the release calander for albums that are more broadly listened to by DTFers.

This thread is for everything else, and for those who check out multiple new releases every week. I think if everything that went in here went on the main release calendar it would be a bit overwhelming. Like a few of the bands in my last post are punk rock bands, which generally won't be of interest to most people.

Yeah, I almost never look in the new release thread.  I'm not really in the loop on release dates as they're announced, I just have a handful of sites I check and update my own personal list in batches every few weeks.  And at least half of those are artists that no more than a handful of people here at most would be interested in anyway.

Wow, I'm blown away by Project 86's latest album! Check it out on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/6jRBECFBQg1Z6OMySbowDg

The album, OMNI Pt1, is an intense listening experience that seamlessly weaves together elements of metalcore, deathcore, and djent. I highly recommend listening to the entire album, and keep an eye out for the upcoming release of Pt2.

Downfall of Gaia - Silhouettes of Disgust

Their last one got quite a few spins over here and lots of positive reviews. Let's see what this one brings.

Gave the new Ne Obliviscaris two spins over the weekend and I'm really liking it. The blastbeats are less promiment in the mix with more focus on the guitars and bass that really shine on this one. Album as a whole sounds more diverse compared to any of the first three albums. Seems worth waiting over five years.
