12. UFO- The Wild The Willing And The Innocent (1981)This is my favorite of the Paul Chapman era albums, and obviously, by being here, one of my favorite albums of all time. Quick history lesson: after Michael Schenker left UFO in 1978, Paul Chapman took over and from 1980 to 1983, they would release 4 more albums before deteriorating in a drugs and alcohol induced mess. This would be the second of the four albums, and the creative and playing peak of the band post Schenker. The songs are great and well written. Phil Mogg sounds incrediblly lush and full on this. Great lyrics take you into the lives of different characters all brought to life by the enigmatic Mogg. Everyone needs to shut the lights off and quietly listen to Profession Of Violence. Paul Chapman at his best. He really shines on this album.
Fave tracks: Long Gone, Profession Of Violence, The Wild The Willing And The Innocent, Lonely Heart
