That's who I was talking to.

Yeah... Casey did a cross-country trip in early November where he drove from California to Rhode Island and he offered to stop and play a few house shows along the way.  He ended up doing 7 of them on that trip (which mine wasn't a part of).  Then after he was done with his work in Rhode Island, he came out to Long Island to record for 3 weeks at a studio in Port Jeff Station (which, incidentally, is where I grew up)... so since he was nearby anyway, I e-mailed him to see if he wanted to do one more house show, and he agreed.

I wish I had realized you were so close/were a fan at the time... I totally would've invited you! =(.

It's OK, can't expect you to know things like that!!

I live in Oakdale, which is a small hamlet in Islip, which is about a 20/30 minute drive to Huntington (my girlfriend lives in Northport, so I'm actually in that area quite frequently)

I remember how badass that lifetime deal was.

I also remember wanting to set my house on fire because I didn't get the money to go it in time.

Yup... I went to Dowling, so I know Oakdale (now that you mention it, I think we've had this conversation before)...

How about we all go to Casey's house so that he doesn't have to go to all of ours?  I'm sure he's have no problem with that. :neverusethis:

I might have to buy it even if I don't have a record player. Can anybody suggest a system that is relatively inexpensive but still boasts somewhat of an upgrade in sound quality?
