So in 3 week my brother and I start on our Russian Imperial Stout. Then wait a year for it. That's not fair.
Mmmmm, imperial stout. Just make sure you don't leave it in the fermentation bucket for too long, either bottle it and age it, or siphon it after a month or so into a different container for bulk aging.
Just poured a rye imperial IPA from a Mississippi brewery called Lazy Magnolia, and a friend surprised me at work today with a box of Sam Adams big bottle releases (Gingerbread Stout, Chocolate Chili Bock, Sahti, and Oaked Blonde Barleywine) because her husband works for the local Boston Beer distributor.
