What a terrible decision. How is mocking the atypical spelling of a name not protected speech? The fact that she was black shouldn't factor into it since white people are just as apt to use goofy spellings, as the Maddisyns and Jaxsons of the world can attest.

I was thinking about starting a thread entitled "Funny/weird/quirky things about your friends" but I think I'll just post this here.

My wife and I have the exact same eye color, straight-up pure green. A few days ago I was wearing a blue shirt and a female friend of many years says to me "That shirt really brings out your blue eyes" and I was like "Umm . . . my eyes are green". "Really? (looks) oh yeah you're right"  . So yeah friends you've had for decades might not know your eye color. This probably happens more to men than women though.

I wouldn't be surprised.  Among friends and co-workers, I have recorded in my memory cells many physical attributes of the women, but the dudes are just dudes.  Eye color?  Hell, I probably couldn't tell you their hair color.  Oh, he's bald?  Okay yeah, that sounds right.

My last gf, her mother had this insane obsession with bubble wrap so for Christmas one year I got her an electric bubble wrap popper. Her delight was frikkin hilarious.
