Too sick to drink right now. Have a chest cold with high fever. Alcohol would prolong it. Looking forward to feeling better so I can drink a few beers and rock out to TA!

Had a perfect manhattan last night, then we ran out of sweet vermouth...so proceeded to drinking Bahamian rum straight.

In, vanilla bead old fashioned.  Muddle a 1" sq of orange peel (pith removed), a 2" piece of vanilla bean (slit open) and three dashes of bitters.  Add 1 tbsp simple syrup, 1/2 cup bourbon, ice, and a marachino cherry.  Then, be amazed at how the vanilla notes in bourbon and an actual vanilla bean play off one another.

I tried this last night except for I didn't use simple syrup. I soaked a raw sugar cube in bitters and muddled it with the orange peal and the vanilla bean. Excellent drink, millahh!

Glad you enjoyed!  It's a drink that seems like it should be seasonal, but it works well pretty much all year round.

I really like woodchuck and haven't tried that flavor.  Like the cider I am drinking now, the only problem with the deliciousness is that I can't drink more than one or two without feeling sick from all of the sugar.

Sugar is the worst thing when it comes to enjoying a drink, but sometimes it tastes so damn good.   :lol

A Wine Super Store just had its grand opening so I picked up a fifth of Jonah's Curse (Black Spiced Rum), Gentleman Jack, and a 100ml sample of Angel's Envy (Kentucky Straight Bourbon).

My buddy is heading over and we're going to sip whilst toking a cigar.  :yarr

In, two glasses of chardonnay w/ dinner, then a scotch old fashioned, then more scotch (neat).

Note that the missus was the instigator on the scotch.

Belated in. Had half a growler of Hill Farmstead George (brown ale) which was cut short by heading to the theater for Deadpool (awesome). Thankfully the dine in theater has a few good beers on the list, so I got to enjoy a Boulevard Tank 7 while watching the merc with a mouth.

GEWÜRZTRAMINER.
I've been drinking beer since I was 18 and dabbled since I was 16. I have at least 500 beer bottles in my collection and love the fancy shit though my wallet doesn't. I'll drink liquor not even five times a year including shots or mixed drinks. Jack Daniels and Coke is an easy go-to for me. Very smooth nads candy sweet.
