Hey Sigz, I know you said that for the most part, you really didn't dig her aside from a few songs that you said were alright. Which were they?

Looking through the tracklist, Opheliac and Misery Loves Company are the only ones I really dug at all. Swallow and Liar both made me throw up, Art of Suicide and Innocence weren't bad, and I don't remember any of the others well enough to say.

Well, the songs off Opheliac you guys recommended were quite tasty, despite my usual non-attraction to synth-pop-ish stuff.

Does she have any work that's more alt-rock oriented?

Don't worry, he is on an energy drink binge.

Within a couple hours, he'll be crashed on his bed.

I have to read like 50 pages for my philosophy class tomorrow. I'm not going to bed anytime soon.

Cole, stop. I'm facepalming so hard right now.

Also, who gives a shit, as long as I'm digging it. :P

To sig, that is the answer.

Out of everything Robwebster has ever said on DTF, that quote from him is the least impressive. Replace that one.

It's radically different from Opheliac, but no less fantastic. I highly recommend it.

It's considerably less fantastic.

But it's still a very nice album. Just not nearly as exciting or unique.

In my opinion.

I think I'm so attracted to Emilie Autumn because of the violin, it's amazing. Enchant was the first album I heard, absolutely gorgeous <3

And some of her lyrics are so funny, I have a special place in my heart for Thank God I'm Pretty :')

She's a wizard on the violin. I wish she'd make more use of it live. Oh well. She still plays Face the Wall regularly and makes decent use of the harpsichord.

I'm just a complete sucker for strings, the fact that she plays it so well means that I would be content listening to an album of just instrumentals.

I haven't seen her live, I was going to go with my friend last year but it fell through :(

Have you heard Laced/Unlaced? It's all classical violin. Half the songs are covers of well-known classical pieces; the others are her own compositions. It's beautiful.

And yeah, I have yet to see her live, but definitely plan to on her next tour.

I've only heard one of them, I'll have to check it out ^^

I also need to get the EP that has 4 O' Clock on, it's one of my favourite songs of hers.

Yeah, I recommend it.

The 4 O'Clock EP is great. It also has My Fairweather Friend, a song titled Untitled, Organ Grinder, and a few remixes. All good stuff.

I really love her music, but to be honest I'm not the hugest fan of the live shows, basing them off the youtube videos. It's pretty cool, don't get me wrong, but theatrics aren't my thing.

Still, the moment she announces a live tour I will be buying tickets. I will probably be one of the few males there over 20 in a sea of emotional crying girls, BUT I WILL ENJOY EVERY SECOND OF IT

It's like reverse groupie-ism where you don't get to sleep with the band/act, but you get their fans instead. And I am ok with that.

IT WILL BE GLORIOUS and then we can go get victory smoothies afterwards to celebrate our manhood and stuff + slumber party + adventures + adventure time + ok

Oh and I still need to check out all of her albums, I'm just so transfixed on how amazing Opheliac is.

To be honest, I think seeing a show of her's might be a bit too much. I mean, I dig the music, but her regular fanbase can't be the most pleasent to deal with in a standing room only, cramped setting.
