That's cool, I guess.

But seriously, she isn't even good.
Yeah, she can't play the violin or piano to save her life.

She's really ugly too. Like, I don't find anything about her attractive at all.

Oh and she is like one of the most unoriginal composers I have ever heard. I hear that kind of stuff all of the time on the radio

etc etc etc

So yeah I checked out Opheliac a couple of weeks ago because Zander wouldn't shut the hell up about her music, and absolutely loved it right away! Such a diverse and exciting album, and her vocals are not just amazing but are great in a number of different styles and techniques. A really amazing musician.

So yeah, that's my favourite of hers, but I've been listening to Enchant as well, which is really nice, as well as a load of other songs (like the second disc of Opheliac and most of A Bit O' This And That) and she has just so much amazing stuff. <3

Which songs would you recommend to try her out again? I youtubed a few songs and couldn't really get into them that much.

Which ones did you listen to?

I usually recommend Swallow, The Art of Suicide, Marry Me, 4 O'Clock, or Willow (the vocal version).

I haven't listened to any of those I think. I listened to Thank God I'm pretty (really chilling lyrics and the music was pretty good, but I haven't had the urge to listen to it again) and a couple others which I can't remember atm.
I'll give those a shot, thanks :)

I would just ignore the "hype" I've generated (which honestly isn't even that much, especially when compared to other threads in this section of the forum) and judge it on its own merits.

EDIT: Swallow was ok, but everything else was meh.

My main problem with Swallow, and most everything else I've heard by EA, is that it could easily be shortened by a minute or so and make a much stronger song.
HOLY MARY MOTHER OF GOD!!!!!  THIS is why LHK is the President of Awesome.

Why is everything you post the best thing ever said?  :lol

LHK is beyond EPIC.

I love Queen, and I am super critical of anyone that covers them, but I have to say this might be the only time where I approve of a cover of Bohemian Rhapsody. That was excellent!

The electric violin solo in her cover is most excellent.
