Zander, did you order the reissue of her book? I just went to check, and it's $75... the packaging looks awesome but I don't think I'm big enough of a fan yet/have the money to get it sadly.  :lol

Yeah. It's damn expensive, that's for sure  :lol But the book itself is pretty thick and comes with all sort of little doo-dads, and she's singing all of the pre-orders, too. So FANBOY SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Knowing me, though, I probably filled in something wrong and the book won't arrive, or I ordered it too late for a signed copy :P BUT I CAN HOPE.

If I get a job and they still have copies available, I'm going to order it and when it gets here I will love and cherish it and go to sleep with the book every night pretending that Emilie Autumn somehow transferred her awesomeness into the book until one day i forget it is just a book and I start to believe that it is actually Emilie AND WE WILL GET MARRIED AND HAVE KIDS AND MOVE FAR AWAY FROM THIS FUCKING PLACE AND MOVE TO THE MOON OF ENDOR OR SOME OTHER PLACE WITH A NICE MILD CLIMATE PLENTY OF TREES AND ATLEAST

ok maybe this is why i dont have a job in the first place

Still haven't had time to listen to any of her full albums yet.

Swallow is a great song though, but it could be shortened by three minutes or so. As was the case with most her songs. I totally agree with Zook on this.

Swallow was the only time where I felt like that applied, honestly. And it's still a good song.

Wait, people actually like Swallow? I mean, I like a decent amount of her stuff, but that song is absolutely cringe worthy.

No, I agree with Sigz. Swallow is pretty bad. It drags on and on and on and on

and on

and on

and

I've never actually noticed the length, mainly because I start uncontrollably vomiting three seconds into the song.

Lee, have you listened to anything on Enchant? It's very different from Opheliac.

I've thought about it, but honestly, Opheliac didn't really do enough for me to make any action on that yet.

You might like it. It's, like, more piano-driven, with much more of a mystical, ethereal sound, as opposed to the insanity on Opheliac. Her voice is a little softer, and the music is more soothing.

If you do try it out and end up hating it, you're entitled to punch me in the face.

Yeah, she definitely should have shortened swallow a bit, the whole end section could kinda be left off. But who knows, my view could change with time, I originally thought Stargazers ending should have been shortened a bit, now its my favourite part of one of my favourite songs! :)

At first I thought you meant the Lady Gaga song, but then I remembered the video by Die Warzau. Yeah, I was confused and slightly aroused by that video, too.

Edit: And yes I realized I was confusing Born this Way with Born Again so DON'T BOTHER MENTIONING THAT.

I don't understand what the plot of the video was supposed to be.  :lol And I'm kinda surprised she agreed to be in it in the first place since it is pretty ridiculous and not even really that "artistic".

But +1 for being aroused within my confusion.

Me neither  :lol I don't think anyone did. The video I watched had such awful audio quality that I didn't even understand what the song was about.

Hopefully she got a decent paycheck for it, though.

There's a pretty sweet live version too

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhVpvHZsiUY&feature=player_embedded

I love Queen, and I am super critical of anyone that covers them, but I have to say this might be the only time where I approve of a cover of Bohemian Rhapsody. That was excellent!

Also I decided that if she tours, I'm totally gonna try and interview her. I work at my school's radio station and she seems to love doing interviews so I could probably manage to MEET HER OMG :caffeine:

Oh God, if you meet her before I do....  :lol

But that would be awesome if you could. It's not too outside the realm of possibility, either. She's really into talking to her fans, which is cool.

She's working on the new album, and right now she's still trying to get all of the book pr-eorders out. She's also working with Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw, Repo) on what I think is a music video, either for a song from Opheliac or for the new album. Either way, I am excite.
