The last time I bought something from OMerch, it fit like a medium and had the sleeve size of a XXL, but it was supposed to be a large. I'm still trying to figure out how they managed to fuck it up that badly. Not ordering from there again.

The music sounds great, sometimes it just sometimes sounds like he's grunting it out shouting rather than growling.

At least compared to the When video on youtube, which is pretty much flawless. His clean vocals are still superb, although he doesn't seem to think it's anything special from the interview.

Also awesome to hear his inspiration from Townsend for talking on stage.

Oh yes, there's a noticeable difference in how he growls. I like the style on the RAH DVD, but not as much as the style on Roundhouse Tapes.

Interestingly, Ariich was at the RAH concert. (If not the one filmed for the DVD, then one of the other 5 anniversary shows). I think I remember him saying that in a live setting he didn't notice it, but picked up on it when he watched the DVD.

I'm actually all for Mikael not growling.
I mean, I still love it when he does it, but if it's hurting his voice to the degree that his clean vocals will suffer, then it's better to prioritize that.

I don't know if it was me who said it here Drew, but it's certainly correct that it was the case for me. I didn't really notice a difference at the gig itself, as the sound is so huge that it's hard to spot subtleties like that, and let's face it, it's not like the change is that huge. But it's definitely more noticable on the recording.

Maybe he did a Steven Wilson and re-recorded the vocals afterwards in the studio?
