I've been listening to a lot of Haken these last few days. I love both albums but Aquarius is just so god damn MAGICAL. Absolutely my favorite.

I just happened to listen to Celestial Elixir (didn't have the time for the full album) and it reminded me why Aquarius is still my favourite album since 2010.

The more I listen to it, the more I'm convinced that the similarities with King Crimson's self titled album are intentional. The start of Drowning in the Flood sounds a lot like 21st Century Schizoid Man and the end reminds me of Epitaph. Sun is similar to Moonchild and Celestial Elixir is almost a remake of The Court of the crimson King.

I bought visions from the bands website,  it arrived with 3 pics, 2 magnets and 2 stickers. Pretty cool of them to include those.

Wait, what?  I hear absolutely no similarities between the two albums.   The latter especially.

just pointing out that In the Court of the Crimson King is definitely not a self titled album

Do we know when a projected release date is going to be? I need new Haken music, they're too good.

I think they went into mixing phase not too long after DT did, so I would expect maybe an October release like with Visions.

Posted on their facebook. Working titles or anagrams of the real tracklist?

The last one is for you mods  ;)

"Hen Mutation

That Hep
Atonal Sets
A Choking Crock
A Minor Mime
Es Uber Aesthetic
Flacking A Betrothal
Machete Ass Beard
Oedipal Air
Obey Mods"

I wouldn't mind "Atonal Sets" to be a real title.

Hen Mutation is the anagram of The Mountain, and That Hep is The Path!

Since there is a gap between the first line and the others, I assume that Hen Mutation or The Mountain is the album title and we'll get nine songs on it.

Machete Ass Beard needs to stay that way. Any other name will be disappointing.

Yeah pretty sure those are anagrams.

Ones I've seen so far that sound pretty reasonable:

The Mountain

1. The Path
2. Atlas Stone
3. Cockroach King
4. In Memoriam
5. Because It's There
6. [haven't seen anything likely for Flacking A Betrothal]
7. As Death Embraces
8. [nope, can't make anything from Oedipal Air, and haven't seen any good ones]
9. Somebody

7. As Death Embraces

Seventh track has "death" in it, just like on Visions... nuggetzz?

Let's all do this, Oedipal Air is driving me nuts cause it's not that many letters and i think it should be easy but it's not turning that way. I've bee trying to identify words that can be formed with those letters and then seeing what the remaining letters are and so far I haven't been able to form a second word but then again, English is not my mother language. Here's what I have so far

rail
adeiop

paid
aeilro

liar
adeiop

rope
aadiil

derail
aiop

aerial
diop

drop
aaeiil

ordeal
aiip

deal
aiiopr

real
adiiop

drop
aaeiil

Never even heard of that word, but having looked it up, that could well be it. Seems like the sort of thing Haken would write about: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareidolia

Right, that leaves one more, as I'm not entirely convinced by Karate Falcon Blight. :P Come on gang!
