Looking forward to it! I felt like he took a huge leap forward between the demo and the debut, but then took a step back with Vision.
Even though I like Aquarius more than Visions I don't think I'd describe it as "a step back" though.
Vocally I think so. Aquarius was mostly good vocally because Ross kinda stayed in his comfort range, so you heard the nice characteristics of his voice without any of those characteristics being stretched into defects. Visions has a lot of nice moments too, but a lot of those "soaring" moments where Ross' unique traits (and, let's admit it, pitchiness) start to work against him.
But we've been through this already. You guys like high-pitched operatic Ross and I don't, so we're not bound to really agree.
