I've spent all week on this and still am lost. Trying to intentionally send something not PROG or Metal but the 4 min limit is killing me. I might just say chuck it and send whatever I can hit on the dart board.  I know how my brain works and I thought I wouldn't OCD this, but here we are.

The Google Form includes a reminder all the rules and criteria from the OP, so there's no excuse for not obeying them.

The anonymous thing is an experiment! If it ends up being one big headache (which is a strong possibility) I'll ditch it after the first round and you'll just send in your submissions like you normally would.

All true, and genuinely I think the anonymous thing is a brilliant idea and I hope it works well enough to maintain it.

And yeah the reminders are good. And it sounds like you'll be taking the same approach as me in that if it turns out I do already know something that wasn't banned, I still accept it and don't ask people to resend.

I like the anonymous part of this format too.  Perhaps, like Tim did, you could have someone be your proctor - Maybe Tim!  A proctor could solicit all the confirmations of who's submitted, and hound the delinquents.

Also, I notice there's nothing preventing multiple submissions.  I guess we're all on the honor system to not send a mulligan option, and just take the one that scores better!

A Proctor isn’t a bad idea… We’ll see how things go this round, and I might make some changes there.

And yeah I’m relying on the honor system  I don’t think there was any way to prevent multiple submissions without requiring people to use their emails, and then that takes away the anonymity.
