lol Dusty Baker has lost 9 consecutive potential series-clinching games dating back to his time with the Cubs

Congrats to the Dodgers for winning and inevitably reaching the world series!!

First statement is true. Second statement is not.   It's the Cubs' year.

The lottery chose me to be able to purchase tickets for and I'll CS, so I was able to get one to go to Saturday's game. And it's a pretty good seat, it's not a crappy seat. I'm very very pumped up  to witness history.

The Dodgers getting past the Cubs???  :rollin  They BARELY got past the Nats!  If it wasn't for the Nats bullpen, the Dodgers wouldn't have made it.

But they did make it, and that's all that matters.  Yes, the Cubs are the better team and should win, but anything can happen.

Because they're the Dodgers!   :D  I should enjoy it, but I've seen them get this far and crash many times.  And I would enjoy it more if they had more consistent pitching and hitting.  If they get to the WS then I'll be a believer.

Adrian Gonzalez you F'n pussy! Gets thrown out at home because HE breaks back! towards second as the pitch is thrown, and doesn't even have the nads to slide! And he still calls out the third base coach. Really?  Classless baby!

I LOVE Dave Roberts, but Gonzalez prevents me for rooting for the Dodgers in any way shape or form.

I didn't see much of the game, but while I agree that Gonzales is pretty unlikable, I was fine with him not sliding there.  He was out by a mile, so why risk injury by sliding into a collision when they have you dead to rights already?

What bothered me is him saying "well I just look at the third base coach and do what he says."

But that's typical AG. Nothing is on him and whines about everything.

It's not that his stats were bad when he was here, but he was a sackless player. A good player, as his hit against Chapman was clutch. But he's not a winning player.

That Turner guy seems like a gamer though.

Look on my FB for pics and videos.

The atmosphere was incredible. Already a positive buzz was at Wrigley when I stepped in. I was there when the gates opened at 5. Dodgers were taking batting practice. I always do this when I go to a game because first hour everything except alcohol is 25% off lol.

Anyways, I figured that it would be a low scoring affair, but then we started lighting up Maeda. When Baez stole home I couldn't believe it. From my angle it looked like he slid between the catchers legs. I was in disbelief. It was incredible.

When Chapman came in during the 8th, I was skeptical because of what happened. He struck out the first two (including Puig which I loved because I can't stand Puig), but then he gave up the 2-RBI double. So much energy fizzled. He got out of it but the damage was done. 3-3 tie going into the bottom of the 8th.

When they walked Heyward to get to Baez, I was like what? And Baez got out. Then they walked Couglan to get to Chapman's spot. We were all wondering who was going to be in. Bases loaded. It was Miggy. I was like this is either going to be great or awful.

Strike. Strike. Then BOOM. Grand slam. I was jumping up and down hugging strangers next to me, high fiving people in front of me and behind me. It was unbelievable. Magical. It was our year. Then next at bat Fowler puts the nail in the coffin.

Top of 9th Rondon came in, and I was optimistic. He was our former closer, after all. He allowed one run, but we were like that's ok. Then the incredible double play to end it. What an unbelieveable game.

For Blue Jays fans:

Fuck Bautista and his 'circumstances'. Guy does nothing but whines and complains. Sure, he can stroke it for 30-40 HR's each year, but I can't stand his attitude. It's just plain embarrassing at this point. Guy needs some professional class.

Right now the Jays have bigger concerns than "where's Geddy at?" lol. TBS just said  Cleveland is 68-1 this season when leading by 3 or more. Sweet Jesus this doesn't look very good

I picked the Jays to win the whole thing. I thought the Sox (who I figured would roll the Indians) did themselves a huge disservice by not bouncing out the Jays on the last weekend of the season.

Don't let the URL deceive you. The article is about how this won't happen. If Jesus Christ himself is slated to throw out a first pitch, even he should be bumped in order for Vaughn to take the mound.

In Chicago for this whole thing. Might go down to Wrigleyville tomorrow for the game. Definitely planning on going down if they win 3 games in the WS. I want to be in the middle of the chaos when the city explodes. Hopefully anyway...
