After one spin of Act III, I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed the album. The only song that I could really get into was "In Cauda Venenum". It just does something for me that the other songs don't. Also, I feel like I could have a sweet drum sesh along to it, which is probably why I like it so much.

Before Act III came out TDH did an online interview at some college, and the interviewer asked them if they have any favorites from the album.  The drummer responded by saying that the one he was most excited to play live was In Cauda.

It's because it's got a sweet groove that is just really fun to play.

Take More Than You Need is amazing.

If I HAD to pick a "weakest" song on the Black EP, I would say "Never Forgive, Never Forget", but I still love it.

The material on TCS is amazing. The Black EP might make my top 10 albums eventually, and is definitely my favorite EP of any band.

Lol... I really should.  But, in fairness, of the six TDH shows I've gone to so far this year (including Brooklyn and Philly this weekend), I actually PAID for TICKETS to three of them, so I'm not really taking TOO much advantage of the lifetime deal.

I'm doing this one because a friend of mine really wanted to go to Brooklyn, but then it sold out before he got a ticket, so I said I'd go to Philly with him.

Yeah, I bought my own ticket for Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Philly.  I don't wanna be "that guy" who is just asking to get into EVERY show for free.  I'm still getting 4 free TDH shows this year out of it (APK Media Brooklyn show, Dredg Brooklyn show, Headlining Brooklyn show and MO show in November), so I figure I can spare $15 per ticket for the other three.

It was a super limited deal they did like a year and a half ago to raise money for TCS.  Lifetime membership = $125 to join, limited to 250 total memberships.  One of the perks is free admission to all TDH shows for life.

I had the money, but I firgured that if I blew $125 on something that would be really cool, but ultimately is completely unnecessary, I'd have to let my wife do the same. So in reality it would have cost $250. Just didn't seem worth it.

I had the money but didn't have a job then. $125 was a bit too big of a purchase for me.  :-\

I've already gotten into 4 free shows from it, and probably a 5th when they come around with MO.  Average ticket for their shows is $15 - 20, so a couple more shows and it'll already have paid for itself.

It would take years for me to have the lifetime deal pay for itself in my case. Not quite as many shows in the Portland Oregon area.

Also, I've decided that Violet is my favourite EP of all time.
