YES!! My wife just texted me that the vinyls arrived, can't wait to get out of work!! I haven't listened to any song yet (except Deny It All when it was on their website) so it's going to be a lot of new (and hopefully great) music to process

I think they're actually back ordered, but as far as I know they're still available for purchase.  There might just be a bit of a delay in delivery time.

So I "discovered" No God today.  This is the first time I've really listened intently to the lyrics of a song from the EPs and I was blown away.  Also the more I listen to it, the weaker The Inheritance sounds (in my opinion, of course).

I did a first listen yesterday and it hasn't immediately blown me away like I expected. I still enjoyed it a lot, there were no weak songs (hey it's TDH we're talking about after all) but there were no songs that grabbed me by the balls either. I suppose it will click with further listens, it's a lot of music to digest so it can take some time.

No God grabs you by the balls from the first line and doesn't let go. Amazing song.

I disagree. I feel this song is one of the weaker ones lyrically. Maybe it's because the topic of the song rubs me the wrong way, but it just seems too literal to me.

I just listened to Act II for the second time overall, this album is already blowing my mind.
Red Hands and The Lake and the River are my favorites by far, though rest is great as well.  :hefdaddy

Same here. I'm not offended at all by lyrics that disagree with my own views, but No God just comes across as smug. Casey really did a great job of giving himself a pat on the back there.

I mean I don't think the song is trying to say there is no God, just that God didn't teach him his morals.

I'm a Christian and God didn't teach me my morals either. My parents did, just the same as Casey. I think that's what bugs me about the song. Just because a person is religious doesn't mean that they think they get their morals beamed down straight from God into their head. Like PC said, he justs comes across as a little smug in this song. I don't really understand the point of the song if it's not at least a little bit of a jab at those who believe in God.

Idk, that's not really what I got from it.  Then again I'm not particularly religious myself, so I probably wouldn't be able to understand why it's offensive in the first place.

Here's something we can all agree on though: Yellow is ridiculously, wonderfully happy.  My favorite is the last one, Misplaced Devotion.

I wouldn't say it's offensive, I just think the lyrics are weak and it's not a very good song.

I'm not saying its offensive, it's just smug and annoying (IMO). I'm a Christian, and I love Neal Morse, but I feel the same way about some of his lyrics, too.

I don't see how it's a jab at religious people (and I certainly don't see how it's "smug").  The point of the song as I hear it is to emphasize the importance of the simpler more basic and "natural" things in life, not to attack religion.  Casey isn't an especially religious person, but he isn't anti-religious either.  I'm pretty sure he doesn't consider himself an atheist or a person who is generally against religion.

I just think the lyrics are weak and it's not a very good song.

This.

Also, why does everyone need to preface their opinion with "I'm Christan, but..." or "I'm not Christian, yet..."? They're just flat, literal lyrics. You don't need a religious affiliation to notice that.

Well... it made sense for my post since Casey's lyrics are basically saying "I don't believe in god, but I turned out OK because I learned good stuff from my parents" in kind of a smug, I don't need god kind of way. So I said in return that I do believe in God and learned good stuff from my parents as well, so it's not like that makes him extra special.

Wait, what exactly is wrong with the lyrics to that song? ???
Nothing is wrong with them. I simply don't like them as discussed several posts ago.
