So I just finished Red, which was pretty good overall.  Started Orange and thought I was listening to another Red song at first.  Red's a bit more...wild, though, I guess.  But both EPs have that bit of modern 70s to 'em.

Orange is really guitar solo driven, where Red had more of an upbeat, angst feel. That's how I felt while listening anyway.

Absolutely, and I think the first songs of both Yellow and Green have a real hippie feel.  Love it.

I really like Yellow.  Its mostly happy, sort of indie rock/pop.

So almost done with Orange.  Holy crap "A Sea of Solid Earth" is really good!

Does the full Color Spectrum count as one album?

Me: "How?"

I'll admit sometimes I want to listen to Dragonforce.

THEY'RE SO PRETTY

a;dksfj;we4o8th4;thfdkgn;thkyjzdkj;askhre;g

Anyways, just finished listening to the whole thing, albeit out of order.  Gonna listen again today, but my rankings so far:

Black
Violet
Indigo
Yellow
Green
White
Orange
Red
Blue

EDIT: changed them a bit.  Basically, OGW are kind of in flux right now.  The other ones I have solid feelings about.

I'd rank Green and Red a little higher, but that's very agreeable with Black, Indigo, and Violet at the top.

Black > Indigo > Violet > Green > Red > Orange > White > Yellow > Blue

General ranking. There isn't one bad song on here though.

Seems like a general agreement that Blue is the worst so far.  Anyway, here's my first thoughts after one listen, which will probably change after more plays.

Indigo
White
Black
Violet
Green
Yellow
Orange
Red
Blue

I'm really pissed off about the glitches. I converted the files to mp3s but they're still there, so they are in the source files and it's not just the playback that has a problem.

What's more, the version that is up on Spotify has exactly the same glitches.

This is completely unacceptable, and I don't even know who I should be contacting.

A lot of people on LATR were having the same problem. They said you should just contact iTunes and they'll give you a replacement or your money back or something.

I also noticed glitches, but i thought it had something to do with my bad internet-connetction at the moment, but i guess the problem lies elsewhere.

No glitches here and I got mine on iTunes.

I've been listening to this throughout the day in the background at work. I need to give these a proper listen at some point soon, but I'm liking what I'm hearing so far. It's not grabbing me immediately like all of the Acts have, but hopefully a better listening environment will help.

Just little jumps in the sound. The first two songs are fine (and are amazing! Especially Filth & Squalor) but the next few are buggy and I had to stop listening after that.

Seems like maybe it's not iTunes fault and that the band/distributor are to blame. On Spotify it's also glitchy, and I downloaded one of the glitchy songs from Play.com and that is exactly the same as well, so I get the feeling maybe the version that was sent to the UK/Europe is dodgy, as all the Americans seem to have it fine.

Zep, any chance you can get in touch with Casey and find out if he knows what the hell is going on?

I know it's really 9 EPs, but if you think of it as one huge ass album with White being last - Home would have been the perfect closer.

More like a triple album.  I know the songs are short by prog standards, but 36/3 = 12 songs per album.

Either way the price for the digital download is an absolute steal.  Completed second complete listen.  Maybe some thoughts when I get home.

Yeah it is.  Just a little under capacity of two CDs.
