I think I'm more entertained by the fact that Michael Romeo never changes facial expressions in any of the promo pictures Symphony X takes, over the fact that he's fat.

I've been listening to TiO these last few days and it is just as fresh and awesome as when I first heard back in 1998. Something I can't really say about their other albums (although they are still awesome, minus PL). Too bad Romeo's brain cells have been replaced with fat ones and they get more and more one-dimensional since V.

Ah yes the good ole Malmsteen symphonic rock clone days, dude are you kidding? There's no accounting for taste, but those old albums don't touch the new ones.

Just read on blabbermouth that the new album "Iconoclast" is in post production. Artwork and pictures are being done shortly and the cd should be released in the spring. Awesome news!

Allen saying it's heavier than Paradise Lost and has 1 ballad-type song on the album.

Personally, I am more than happy with that. I am in the minority on this forum, who prefers SX's heavier touch.

This album is gonna contain some absolute kick-ass riffs. Hopefully after 4 years they've put the effort in.

Well that's kinda disappointing to me as I love Russell's softer voice, but I do still love the heavy stuff. Maybe the songs will be heavy and feature non Raspy Russell too.
