No. Not at all. That initial DUH!! DUH! DU DUH! Well, you get my point, is the best part of the song, and not seeing that was disappointing but like I said, it was still an amazing show. Absolutely amazing.

Absolutely amazing.Numbers is still failing! For someone on his 4th Rush tour and 9th show those little changes are awesome little ways of spicing up the shows, and the way they blasted into the regular song was amazing.
They've been tuning down since the TFE tour. Geddy can't hit the high notes in the olders songs anymore.

Geddy can't hit the high notes in the olders songs anymore.I'm aware of that, and it's always been plainly noticeable. This time around, it sounded normal to me. Furthermore, Geddy didn't even try to sing the high parts this time around, which was also noticeable.

I'd rather still see them play some old songs and drop a step for Ged than see them not play any.

What I thought two weeks ago was that they were playing it in the proper key and Geddy just wasn't trying the high parts.I agree with your position, though. I just wish they'd take that approach with some of the other classics. It bums me out that I'll probably never get to see Fountain or Hemispheres played live.
Rush put on yet another awesome show last night in Holmdel. Always sad though to hear the final few notes of the show knowing it's the last bit of Rush for the year, no more shows and probably no new music until 2011.
Rumor is is that the Pittsburgh show will be filmed.
