Is there ANY chance of additional dates? I want to go to this more then anything, but if I can avoid a 7 hour travel, I will.

I only just saw this.

Very nice news for the band. They're touring with Maiden. They're playing MSG. They're gonna have a party.

I'm confused; how can you like Dream Theater, Metallica, and Megadeth, but not like Iron Maiden?
Oh come on, IM are a bit of a different band than those other three.

In fact, of those 4, the only bands that bear any real resemblance (more than just a few similar songs) are Megadeth and Metallica. And even they're pretty different and I know plenty of people who like one and not the other.

The only picture of DT in that 1992 concert?
No.. This pic was taken at Axis in Boston on 12-16-92. I didn't take any DT shots at the Ritz. I wish I had., but I wasn't taken any chances of either losing my camera or getting booted before Maiden.

These 2 ARE from that show. There's a pretty good DVD boot of Maiden from this show, and in it, I can see my camera flashing. I really wish DT was filmed. I'm sure MP must have a video of DT's set. Fingers are crossed that it gets released as some sort of bonus material along with the Ytsejam release of Live At MSG....

would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related

Is it still worth going to two concerts (the 2nd being the next day after the first) to see the exact same songs?
If you can afford it and have the time..then definitely, because when you wake up the morning after the first show, and wonder if it was possible to have witnessed what you just did, you can have it confirmed that very evening.

I saw a reference to the prices at MP's.  The cheap seats were more expensive than most, but the good seats were cheaper.  I think it was somewhere around $50 and $85.  Compared to the shed prices, that's a bargain.

I'm going cheap for MSG.  I'd rather be able to peer down at the band like a hawk in the sky then have to try and see over someone's head.

All US tickets go on public sale Saturday, March 20th. I think it's in just about every press release and announcement.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before....When DT toured with Yes, DT offered the fans a block of tickets (Gold/Silver/Bronze) First 10 rows/10-20/20 + Do you think they will do the same this tour ? I  purchased a IM fanclub package (for the presale-password) just in case.

They send you a presale, you use it to buy tickets.  Not very complex at all.  Even if you join during the presale they'll send you a code.

More specifically, the tickemaster page where you purchase tickets will have a space for you to put in the password that IMFC sends you.

How much is it to join the IMFC?
$15 for online-only (no physical belongings, just presales, discounts, etc...) and I think $35 for the full package, t-shirt, magazines, etc...

If I go (90% sure I will), I'm just gonna get the cheapest nosebleeds I can get. I like Iron Maiden, but they arent one of my favorite bands and DT is only playing a 50 minute set, so it doesnt matter too much where I am in the venue, as long as I am there and can hear everything. :)

Okay  I have a presale password ( there is a 4 ticket limit per show per password) I am attending both the MSG show (sorry already have 3 friends coming with me) and the PNC show )its only my oldest son and I)... I planned to purchase 4 tickets to PNC as well....would anyone here be interested in them for face value, once I have the seat selection I'll let you know the seat location is.

WAIT! Don't do that if that venue is using the Paperless Ticket thing, as the person who bought your "tickets" would have to get in by showing the credit card that bought them (a.k.a. your credit card).

If you were planning on meeting up, that would work, but that would not work otherwise.

That was my whole intention, they would have to meet me at the venue to gain entrance, just figured if I can get decent seats, someone may want them.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow.  i plan on walking a couple blocks to the Ticketmaster retail outlet so I can pay with debit.  The thing is, and I couldn't find anything on the TM website about this, was will I be able to buy tickets for events out of town?  I live in Montreal, but I'm planning on going to the Toronto show.  Will I be able to buy tickets for that show here?  I think so, but I'm not sure.

Is it worth getting into the fan club for the presale if I wouldn't be able to buy the tickets until at least four hours after the presale starts? Should I just wait for the general public to be able to buy tickets, or do you guys think I would still have a chance of buying three seats within the first three rows four hours after the presale begins for the Blossom Music Center concert?
