So I've read some of you pimping Europe from time to time. Now I have not heard a single Europe song since their first album. Other than their great cover of Love To Love, of course. Anyway, new album. Cool name. New video!
https://bravewords.com/news/swedish-rock-legends-europe-premier-war-of-kings-music-video

Man does this song SUCK!

It sounds like a cover of a Deep Purple B-side. My opinion on this is no different to any of their other albums of the 2000s. Not at all interested.

Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

That Europe song wasn't too bad IMO.  I'll check the album out.  It's definitely nothing special though.  Norum's solo was pretty tasty.

Nelson have finished recording a new album! I'm so excited. Lightning Strikes Twice is still one of the strongest melodic rock albums I own, and I was worried there would be no more from them. This is now perhaps my most anticipated release of the year.

I only own one of their big album they did in the 80's, I don't even remember the name, the one with their big hit on it I think.  I should get that cd out.  I looked at the last album but never checked it out.

I didn't mind the album I got, but I can't remember a thing about it.  It was decent enough but I never checked out anything else.  I might put it on now and hate it, dunno.

That's the only one I have too - good for what it is but probably a bit "poppy" for me these days.  Some surprisingly decent guitar work on it though if memory serves correct.

Bro, it's sitting at home but I haven't checked it out yet.   :lol  I got like 3 months of new releases at once and am working my way through.  I'll have to crack it open and let you know.

You are the only person who could likely need a secretary and a spread sheet in order to go through your cd collection. Just don't give the secretary a raise like George did

:lol  Yeah, that would be something I'd do too.

Bro, I know I suck at this lately, my organization skills have gone out the window.  Just mainly been going through Ten, Sweet/Lynch, Harem Scarem, Level 10, UDO, Crazy Lixx, most which have been really strong so I've been wanting to stay with them.

I still got stuff from even last year to crack open like, Nightingale, Nigel Bailey, Rated X and Periphery from a couple of weeks back and the new Jorn which should arrive soon.  Serious Black should arrive soon also, so I just can't keep up.

would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Both great albums. I've tried some of their others, but they're completely different and I didn't like them at all.

I'm curious for the new Whitesnake single. The last two albums were very good, but Aldrich was a huge part of those. Hopefully Coverdale can sustain the quality without him.

Good to Be Bad was a decent enough record, but didn't excite me like Forevermore did.  The pair plus Reb had a good thing going on that one, with a lot of great songs.  Hopefully the quality can remain that high.

Good to be Bad had plenty of great songs too, but it started off with some of the weaker tracks, and the more metal production didn't serve the songs as well as Forevermore's.
I also didn't mind a couple of the songs they did prior to that on the live album. Not as good as either album, but you could hear how they developed their sound as a band. I hope that progression doesn't go backwards without Aldrich.

Finally listening to my copy of Rated X.  Nothing outstanding, and pretty much what I expected, but quite smooth and pretty solid.  Guitarist is good.

Not many WOA fans around here, but I'm one of the few.  I don't think Framework comes close to either of the other two, but it's something I listen to from time to time and is consistent and solid to what the band delivers.

PRetty much the same for all the tracks.  Had a few spins, very Rainbow in places.

I concur.  Framework isn't quite as memorable as In Progress, which is the only other WOA album I own, but it is enjoyable.

The sound is horrible, you'd probably find better bootlegs really.  The performance isn't bad but could be better too.  Gotta listen to the whole thing, but I wouldn't bother with it.  The video isn't that bad but doesn't really make it worth it, and I fell asleep during the second song.  :lol
