Quote from: Indiscipline on November 14, 2023, 02:26:25 PMPardon the interruption, but I just had to run in and celebrate the majesty of Lube in the Face as highest moment in roulette history.

Don't need to click but this came up on my Youtube feed and I just kept fucking scrolling.

Should have a listen for a chuckle regardless.

Everyone in the Youtube comments section of that song seems way too positive about that song.

They always do.  It's like with any Frontiers song, the comments for their videos seem as fake, generic and cliche as the music.

Evermind

I watched it. Absolutely awful, both the video and the song. :lol
Quote from: Train of Naught on May 28, 2020, 10:57:25 PMThis first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

Stadler

She looks so uncomfortable lip-synching that, which in turn makes me feel uncomfortable watching it.  And you'd think that she'd put her foot down and say "no actresses in the video that are hotter than me!!!"

Is the cheese intended?  Like, is the 22-key keyboard meant for real or is it a tongue-in-cheek joke?

:lol I kind of don't hate this cheesy 80s stuff, but it's not pulled off well enough to enjoy for me.

Firstly, they probably needed something to try and keep people watching the whole thing.  Secondly, they'd still be looking for said actresses if that were the case.

Plus, I'm pretty sure the whole fucking thing is a joke.

Don't know if this has been discussed in my absence, but AI is going to kill Frontiers dead.
Check this AI album out - Del Vecchio is toast. Best thing Frontiers never did in recent memory.

Scary man. Organic music will be gone eventually. Awful.

LithoJazzoSphere

There are certainly many challenges and concerns to consider with how AI shifts the landscape, but organic music isn't going away any more than face to face interactions, books, eating at restaurants, or any other physical activity that is threatened by technological advancement is.

Maybe not "going away" but certainly some of those things have suffered or deteriorated. Then again, in some cases, it's made those that are good at those things MORE special.

I never knew Pink Cream 69 was considered AOR

What else would they be considered?

So I just checked, and, uh, you are one of the two who haven't sent.

Wouldn't they be more melodic hard rock over AOR?  AOR has been used pretty loosely but I don't think it would fit a band like them.

jjrock88

Wouldn't they be more hard rock instead of melodic hard rock or AOR?

wolfking

Maybe they are 'solid hard rock more' than hard rock, melodic hard rock or AOR.
