1: King - A little spooky, a little jazzy, pretty fun.

2: ReaperKK - A band I haven't banned, but it’s hard not to be familiar with them. This certainly sounds like them, all right.

3: TAC - Man I don’t like those verses. The rest of the song kind of makes up for them though.

4: Ariich - Felt like an appetizer.

5: Crow - Maybe I’m just thinking of that Reddit post too much, but this does put a smile on my face.

6: Sacul - This should absolutely be my jam, but I think it needs to grow on me.

7: Metro - Some groovy parts, but not as melodically gratifying as the equivalent songs from their previous two albums.

8: Lonestar - Decently blistering.

9: LithoJazzoSphere - Surprisingly tasty instrumentation. Goes decently hard, but will it be hard enough?

10: twosuitsluke - The intro reminds me of Imagine Dragons. Thankfully the rest of the song does not.

I mean with the ranking system, it's always gonna be bad round for someone! There aren't any songs this round I flat-out dislike, though there's a handful that aren't doing a whole lot for me or are held back by certain things. The best songs this round are quite good.

You don't get to pick - they're chosen randomly from several options based on your current standing. The further behind you are from the lead, the better items you can get.

I updated the "Round Structure" section of the original post slightly. The only real change is that the round won't proceed to Hangman until everyone has submitted both their song and their item action - it didn't make much sense for me to hound people two different times throughout the round instead of just once.

This will be the structure for every round going forward:

1. Everyone is given an item, chosen at random based on their current standings. These items are public for everyone to see.
2. Everyone must submit their song, and privately message me their item action for the round, choosing to either use the item, or keep them it for the next round.
3. Hangman / First Impressions
4. Comparisons: You'll get to see how your song for this round ranks against all the previous songs you've sent.
5. Song results are posted, and points are awarded based on the rankings of the songs. Standings are updated.
6. Shortly after the song results, the item results are revealed, with points being gained and lowered in a massive storm of chaos. Standings are updated again, and we proceed to the next round.

- Some items you can use in multiple ways and / or require you to target a specific person, so if that's the case you might need to tell me a bit more. For example if you had a red shell, you could "throw it at King" or "protect" with it. Just check the rules for your first item once you get it.
- You can only have one item at a time. If you keep it, you won't get another one the following round. Most times you'll probably want to use the item you have.
