Incubus - Morning View XXIII

Mixed feelings. I like the new arrangements but man, Brandon's voice is in a rough state. They should've released an album version of anniversary show they filmed at the house they recorded the original album in and called it a day.

First time hearing this band, the sound is pretty awesome but I'm wondering if they have other albums that are a bit more melodic, because the most melodic songs on this one (Lambsbread, Cometh The Storm, Hunting Shadows) are easily my favorites. :lol

Most stoner stuff only appeals to me moderately, but I remember liking Death Is This Communion in particular.  Might have something else vaguely similar for later depending on how things go.   :corn

Not all albums, but my travel music...

Armored Saint-Raising Fear
The title track is my take off music, and I spin the rest of the album. Somehow it takes my mind off of what's happening.

Dream Theater...Boston 2-25-22
Excellent show. James is OK. Mangini is amazing, and I have no idea how the band keeps it all together.

Iron Maiden....Mansfield 7-19-17
The Book Of Souls tour. Amazing show.

Hammerfall...Worcester 5-21-23
Opening for Helloween. A bucket list band for me. I can do without the piped in backing vocals though. C'mon!

Helloween...Worcester  9-14-18
The first tour back. Amazing. Kiske sounds great. The Kai/Walls Of Jerhico part is one of my all time favorite concert moments ever!

UFO...Foxboro  5-14-11
Great sounding highly energetic show.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

It is, although there are plenty of their albums I'm not overly familiar with. It's a classic case of the first album I heard becoming my favourite.

I heard Blood Bound on a Metal Hammer cover CD in 2005, and bought the album not long after. It came with a pink inflatable guitar that I got signed by members of Dragonforce at Download Festival :lol  funny the things your brain retains.

Hah!

Bloodbound is one of their best songs. I just did a Hammerfall deep dive before my trip and created a Hammerfall playlist. Here it is if you'd like...

There's no order. I think I worked backwards for the most part adding songs from each album.

Saw a bunch of people talking very highly about these guys in some thread and decided to check them out. Picked up the Jacob Hansen remasters of the first 2 and then the most recent.

Already have one listen to this under my belt and it is, in fact, fantastic. Can't wait to get onto the next 2.
beul ni teh efac = Lube In The Face / That has to be wrong.  :lol / EDIT: Oh, it's Blue! I'm an idiot.
Pardon the interruption, but I just had to run in and celebrate the majesty of Lube in the Face as highest moment in roulette history
