Here's my EP, complete with a story as usual - I didn't make it as detailed as in Puppies' roulette as there's no points for story, but I really liked how it came together and how well the lyrics fit.

Quote
story and all the lyrics are in this google doc:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/15YrSWYdEvGOP2RXy3f6CbVCDpD4pGl4txujTKw8OXSc/edit?usp=sharing

The doc includes the link to the single edited mp3, which is also here:
https://mega.nz/file/ATQBDLaA#imMKUqvctdrknoLR6WT5oPOShYkvlng3edBrSjvslF8

And for ease of reference, here are the timestamps:

1. 00:00 - 01:54  |  Disillusion - In Waking Hours (intro)
2. 01:54 - 08:48  |  An Abstract Illusion - Drop This Planet of Dust
3. 08:48 - 11:34  |  Xanthochroid - To Lost and Ancient Gardens
4. 11:34 - 17:55  |  Аеthеriаn - Army оf Gаiа
5. 17:55 - 23:55  |  Xanthochroid - The Sound of Hunger Rises
6. 23:55 - 35:44  |  Disillusion - The Liberation
7. 35:44 - 41:24  |  Xanthochroid - To Souls Distant and Dreaming

And finally, you asked for playlists as well, so here they are:

Ok, here's mine. I tried to create an album in a 1970's Occult style. It's all retro hard rock. Maybe the fogeys will dig it. ;D

Here's an edited version of the PM I sent Litho. The playlist is in the quote.

Hazel The Witch

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4RJr5rVi3DfNaNTkV22hMN?si=20662fa2b7d546ef

Side 1
1. Adrian Tabacaru-Lucifer
2. Tanith-Falling Wizard
3. Pale Divine-Satan In Starlight
4. Phantom Spell-Blood Becomes Sand

Side 2
1. The Vintage Caravan-Dark Times
2. Horisont-All Must Come To An End, Part 1&2
3. Winterhawk-Revival
4. Dead Lord-Evil Always Wins

The story loosely is that Hazel is seduced by the Lucifer and joins him in the first song, and views him as a "Fallen Wizard". Once she sees Satan In Starlight, she realizes her inescapable mistake in Blood Becomes Sand. (I put Blood Becomes Sand at the end of Side 1 as many old albums closed out Side 1 with an epic or slower track).

With Dark Times and All Things Must Come To An End, Hazel's story basically comes to a close. (If you're familiar with The Wicker Man starring Nicholas Cage, you know that after he is killed, the women are back out looking for their next victim..) Revival basically signifies the next fool to come along. And finally the closer is Evil Always Wins. It's short, punchy, and sarcastic similar to how Only The Good Die Young closes Seventh Son.

would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related

TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Royksopp Ariich? Maybe it's an interlude. :lol

Quote
Evermind:

Favorite - Röyksopp - "Running To the Sea"

:lol

I really don't have any faith in my EP because it was so half-assed, I just hope I don't fall out of the top 10.

Quote
Puppies_On_Acid:

Least Favorite - AFI - "The Great Disappointment"

Yeah that tracks :lol

Quote
ariich:

Favorite - Xanthochroid - "To Lost and Ancient Gardens"

I think that's my favourite Xanthochroid track overall although I do like Of Aching Empty Pain quite a bit too.
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

Favorite is definitely correct. :tup

Magic City definitely wouldn't be my least favorite but I probably wouldn't argue with it being the least good of the three Gorillaz tracks.

I’ll take that. Can’t say I expected any song to be a particular favourite for you, but hoped for Crackhead.

However, ‘least favourite’ - VINUSHKA? For shame.

Yep, my two favourite Japanese metal bands there. Next you’ll tell me you think Nobuo Uematsu sucks!

I’ve also just realised that with only a 13.5 point gap between first and last place, and this round being scored out of 30, literally anyone could win this thing!

Apologies if you’ve already stated this dude, but are you going to post results one at a time, based on final rankings for the whole roulette?

But to be honest I've never played any of the FF games, I've just seen and heard scattered bits and pieces over the years.
