I came to post this half-expecting you to beat me to it...and sure enough...

Cool three-part suite. Classic Tribulation (well, the sound of their last few albums, at least), taking its time to develop in a longer form than usual. I read this was only available before (in its entirety) on the vinyl version of Gloom...

Part 1 is on my CD version and it's great.  Can't wait to check the full thing later.

Kade, are you familiar with that Armored Saint album? That album punched me in the face today like it never has before, and I bought it the day it came out!!! It is heavy AF, and there's great solos throughout.

That's the only album in that batch I'm not familiar with.  I'll check it out over the weekend.

There were a few songs on that I thought were filler but The Pillar is an absolute killer  :D  ...................like a heavier, punchier Symbol of Salvation sound which for me is their best overall.

Not really feeling this one so far honestly, it's kinda cool that almost all of their styles are represented here but none of them are really done as well as they have been on earlier albums

I dunno, this hit me pretty hard on first listen. I kinda liked The Dripping Tap and Magenta Mountain but the front half of the album really did it for me, as a listening experience. Granted I'd just finished work for the week and was supping my favourite beer. It may have been a bit long and my interest started to wane towards the end. I'm gonna spin it again  tonight though, 100%.

I think for a band like King Gizz, who release so many albums, I don't get too excited by each release. Hell, I'm not even that hardcore a fan. I started listening late 2019 and Infest the Rats Nest was their latest release.

My fave albums are Mind Fuzz, Nonagon, Flying Microtonal Banana, Polygondwanaland and Infest. I'm all about that middle period of their career, so far. I've checked out every new release since Infest and been pretty underwhelmed to be honest. Omnium Gatherum is the first new release, since getting into them, that has really impressed me.

That's all going off one listen but I trust my gut nothing and I know I want to listen again. I personally love them blending all their styles on one album, rather than spamming one.

Really interesting album. I dig it!

Totally wanted to check this one out - not streaming on Amazon music. I'll do their Bandcamp page...

EDIT: Listening now...this is good!! The second song (proper), Ad Bestias, is amazing!

I'm glad you didn't give up after The Mariner. The first proper song is easily the worst. The rest of the album is really nice.

Yes, Ad Bestias is indeed amazing!

Lemm - Arkhē

I gave this a listen just now, and I think it's a very lovely album. If I give this more listens, I think this will become one of my favorite albums... I feel like I say that a lot, but I suppose I tend to get optimistic about an album when I really enjoy it on the first listen.
This is an electronic album that has a lot of emphasis on piano and atmospheric sections, but also has a good amount of energetic sections. It has a futuristic yet timeless sort of feel to it. I'm not sure how many people here would be interested in an album like this, but if it sounds even remotely interesting to any of you, I'd fully recommend at least giving it a shot.

Audrey Horne...Their latest one, and one from a few years ago.

I just posted about them in the Friday releases thread...such consistently good quality in their albums. Devil's Bell has a ton on NWOBHM influence. Le Fol sounds quite different (Faith No More, grunge-y alternative rock, 70s rock...?), and it's a very, very cool album.
