Cyrille Aimee - Nuit Blanche

Sent by romdrums?

And did Nekov send the Solstafir song?

Both songs not in English so seems likely to have been those two.

Luca Turilli's Rhapsody-Luna....sounds like something the kind of mistake K-Lox would send make.

Fixed

I've clearly made a terrible mistake. Be merciful, please  :lol

The Dillinger Escape Plan track is likely from the "career closers" category so I'm guessing it was Ruba?

Edit: the singer on Puppies' song isn't my cup of tea at all, uh

And LordCost's song is pretty good actually, alright then.

First Impressions

Not at all what I was expecting, based on previous experiences with this band

Probably the most forgettable song of the group, which is a real shame considering that you chose the theme

I like this song so far, but why can’t he enunciate properly? I’d love to know what he’s saying.

The repetitive demand sounds nice at first, but it quickly wears me out.

Another one who chose the theme, only to send the least memorable song.

Feels like you’re outside of your wheelhouse, and mine too!

Operatic and a bit over the top, but at least my girlfriend likes it.

I generally love music of this style; the problem is that the lyrics are usually a big part of the appeal.

Like a Parisian café where all the seats face outwards and the haughty natives scowl at the passing tourists

This song has all the nuance of a sledgehammer

Takes me back to my time in the amniotic sac.

Nothing surprising here except that you managed to tie this to your theme

Decent pop music. Takes me back to a time I wasn’t alive.

Black metal riding a horse

Serious deep voice that doesn’t sing so much as preach to the listener

I wonder how all the pieces of this song work together as well as they do

If you don't listen to a song, does it get a perfect 10 because you can't identify any flaws? :metardica:

"Black metal riding a horse" is solefald probably, mine is the sledgehammer comment

Rip all the theme senders (myself included)

I told seneca this going into it, but Luna is actually a cover of "Luna" by Alessandro Safina, an Italian pop singer. I prefer LTR's version because of the swell into the chorus and Alessandro Conti's voice, but the original is good too. I hope it didn't tank...

Three comments are geared right back at the theme-picker, and if TAC is out of his wheelhouse, that means it's quite likely me or Tomi that are the pop comment.  If not me, then I'll take this one, thankyouverymuch.

The repetitive demand sounds nice at first, but it quickly wears me out.

If I'm doing the math correctly, whoever sent something from '94... you're the amniotic sac comment.

I concur. Good pick. Great song for a lovely picnic on a warm summer day.

I am surprised by this support, it's the submission where I am the most insecure about from the start of the roulette. TDEP is one of my favourite bands but I never fell in love much with Dissociation's title track (I think it's because it's a bit outside my comfort zone, it's much easier to me to get into almost all the remaining tracks of the album), but I read praises for the song and I figure it's something Seneca could like too.

I feel I will join the people who choose the theme and send a forgettable song when it will be my turn.

First first impression should be mine.

Yeah seriously. The "least memorable in the group" impressions seem pretty bad at first but actually better than the ones that are memorable for bad reasons. :lol

I've either got one of the "least memorable" ones and have to hope it becomes more memorable, or I've got "I generally love music of this style; the problem is that the lyrics are usually a big part of the appeal" in which case I hope you're still able to enjoy it despite it being in Greek.

None of the others really (or at all) work for my song.

And themselves apparently.   :P :P
