Oh yeah, given one chance to impress, I'd definitely reach for Brothers In Arms if Dire Straits wasn't banned.

Instead I went for something that Train really liked. Sent just now.

I was sure that would be your pick for 80s round.

Which is why I sent Your Latest Trick in Round 3, actually.
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

It probably would have been if you hadn't blocked me :lol

And I actually just sent the song I was tentatively planning to send for that round right now. So I don't quite know what I'll send if I make it through...

Bolsters: Pandora’s Box - The Opening of the Box 9.5/10
THIS Is how to open up an album. This was great. It was crazy, chaotic, and AN ACTUAL ORCHESTRA. I am genuinely interested in hearing the rest of this album after hearing this.
The rest of the album isn't anything like this, but you may like a lot from it anyway. The song I usually send people from this album is It Just Won't Quit, and it is somewhat more representative.

Oh boy, for a moment I was really worried my track would suck but looks like it paid off  :metal

Yeah, probably half the album is somehow like that, the rest not so much, but it's quite a fun record, you'd enjoy it.

If you liked the vocal harmonies here, you're going to love the rest of the album (and the other albums by this band).

IN MY HEART  :heart

Thanks for having me splont, ofcourse I enjoyed it! The hangman thing was great and while I didnt do too well, I kinda saw this coming as I had figured out we werent exactly a match during my roulette.

If I may be honest, I didnt care too much for round 4, it was special but for the sake of being special it seemed.

Good luck to 425 and Elite, wouldnt it have been hilarious if both were eliminated because they didnt send in time? :lol these are not the best people you could rely on to send within 24 hours splent!

I'm asking myself this two. I actually asked for this to be counted toward the instrumental bonus, is that already incorporated or did you just forget?

Yeah, I like how 'hit and miss, but this one was a miss' still results in a 7.5

I can imagine my own roulette having too high scores. I wouldn't have heart to rate anyone badly. But if I ever do one (I doubt it) I'll have measures to stop myself from giving too high scores. Don't know if someone ever did it that way but basically it is combination of rating and ranking system. Point from 0-10 with 0.5 scores between and two people can't get same score in a round.

Yeah, 'not bad but couldn't get into it' sounds more like 4/5 to me, maybe 6 if I'm feeling particularly generous. But definitely not a 7.5.

Guys you know 7.5 is average.  That can be hit or miss.  Sucks is more like a 4 to 5 range.

On my scale 4 is still an ok song. A song I actively dislike would get a 0,1 or 2. But then, it's hard to find a song I actually dislike.

Dunno, 5 (in an out of 10 scale) means the song was neither bad nor good, it's just there. Something like a 7.5 is actually quite good but not very special imo.

Damn, so this is the way it ends. I was looking forward to my sudden death battle against Elite, but I suppose it was not meant to be.

Oh well. It was fun while it lasted! Thanks for having me, splent! This was a really fun roulette to play in, actually, on account of hangman and everything. Probably would have been more fun if you'd liked my songs, but oh well. :P

Instead I went for something that Train really liked. Sent just now.
