Well, the HDtracks versions usually have a different mastering applied, so they sound more dynamic. They could release the same master on CDs, but the HDtracks is one more way to get more money out of the album.

Thisa post is made by a greek guy.

That's true :lol

Do we know if the standard double cd will have the lyrics?  Also, this talk about the cd got me thinking, is the standard cd sound better than iTunes download to a cd?

Come on DT, give us a video or SOMETHING!!!!!  :censored

"The thing that kills me is all these bands that use huge words in their lyrics, 'I'm swimming in a vortex of apathy.' I'm like, 'What?' I don't walk up to a friend and go 'That's a stylin' looking vortex of apathy you've got there pal. I was swimming up a river of deceit myself."

I gotta say, when you're drunk as shit as I am right now, this thread is really confusing to read through.

This thread doesn't need anybody to be drunk to get lost within it..

Do we know if the standard double cd will have the lyrics?

Why shouldn't have them?..

I meant the written lyrics.  It seems like a lot of the cds now do not have a lyric sheet in a booklet with the cd

But DT's have always had one.. I don't see them not doing it this time just for the amount of lyrics.. Think of SDoIT.. They'll only have to add some more pages I suppose..

DT albums always have lyrics, and this album is dependent on the lyrics more than usual, for knowing which characters are speaking and understanding the story etc.
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

Which CDs do you buy? all my CDs of all kind and genre has lyrics. Only Helloween didn't on one of their recent records and on their website they gave away for free a PDF of the lyrics. I also remember Metallica's Load didn't have them, 'cause they thought photos of them with short hair were more interesting.
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

Well my Pomegranate Tiger CD doesn't have lyrics, just some bogus story about how Martin thanks his family and fans for the support :neverusethis:
people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.

Downloaded it and read it with my limited knowledge of french.
Long and nice interview but not much new information that I could find. It was done before mixing was finished.

JP wrote the background story and all lyrics. JR & JP wrote the music together. Giving half finished ideas for David Campbell to embellish for the orchestra and choir.

The tour will be just the five of them. The story will be told visually on screen and possibly with things happening on stage. They considered touring with an orchestra but it would be logistically and financially problematic.

No finite plans for recording a show yet but if they do they would like to do it full scale with orchestra and choir.

Plans for the future are not set. They could do a "garage band" recording a normal DT album or a continuation of the Astonishing story.

Interesting the part that talks about the shows... No orchestra and... no choir I imagine...
