Coz, that's bad ass. How did you go about getting the inlay done like that? Did you have it custom done or was it dumb luck to find that?
To me, the 80's were weird. I listen to a lot of 80's music, and some of it is just plain awesome (I still think Cinderella is a GREAT band). But the more I learn, the more I know, I feel like the 80's was a thing to be experienced more than the music itself. I can't imagine what it was like to walk to the Whiskey, watch a band called Motley Crue, then walk down the street to the Rainbow and watching a band called Mickey Ratt, then walking to Gazarri's to watch a band called Hollywood Rose (which later became Guns'n'Roses), then hike back to an open party at the house that those Motley Crue guys live in (about a half a block from the Whiskey).
The reason this is important is that it gives a context to some of the music. As much as I love Kiss, the stupid leopard prints and bandanna's tied around Paul Stanley's balls don't really make sense, unless you realize that it was his way of mainstreaming the way the average dude looked every night on Sunset Strip.
