Nah. I just have a sensitivity to that subject. There's nothing to apologize for. After you clarified what the girl was in reference to I understood it better. Your comment after that pissed me off, but whatever. I'm over it.

Unless I was going to run in front of the people waiting for hours before I got to the FTTB line there was no way I was getting the barrier (actually they had some ticketing issues so some people got stalled regardless), I actually had plenty of time to walk around the floor and soak in the environment knowing I wasn't going to be in the exact front.

Security loves me.  I broke up a fight at the ticket line and the lady was thanking me.  Also, the guy who took that pic was security, I chatted with him for a few minutes as it was the calm before the storm and he was not into or knew about Iron Maiden.

Actually, that picture was taken after I already had my spot near the barrier.  My friend and the others I chatted with held my spot for me while I grabbed beers and then walked around the floor for a bit.  It was really cool being on the empty floor.

Probably  I had first to the barrier and there was already a line about 60 deep when I got to the arena at 4:15pm (doors were at 6:30) and 120 total people get first to the barrier (60 winners plus a guest each).  There was already a decent line for normal GA.  I was about 3 deep from Dave and there were about 30 people behind me at first to the barrier (essentially one more row of people). 

In the past, I've gotten about 5 deep with only an hour or so waiting in the GA line.  I think if you give yourself an hour you'll be pretty close, but it's not likely you get any closer unless you want to give yourself a few hours to get next to the FTTB winners.  I put my name in for the FTTB contest for the next two shows in Brooklyn.

The one time I got barrier for Iron Maiden (this was before first to the barrier, or at a show where they weren't doing it, can't remember), we showed up around 10am with chairs and food. A little before doors half of us held the place and the rest went to run the stuff to the car. And I think we were like 9th or 10th in line.
