Random thought I had the other day.  We were always taught to wash our hands after going to the toilet, but wouldn't it make just as much sense to wash your hands before you go to the toilet too?  We're worried about spreading germs but never take into account the germs we go into the bathroom with and then touch our dick.

Why would you have gonorrhea on your hand?

Normally I don’t wash my hands first unless I feel like they’re dirty and then I’ll wash first. In those cases , I may not rewash after though. Depends how it goes.

I mean, just musing here, but as a general proposition we're all humans. Understanding that the vernacular could be better, but aren't the concerns essentially the same? (I'm being serious, not provocative).
