The missus is on my case as usual and today it's about throwing out a lot of my old music stuff
Next will be all my music mags I suppose. Anyway - as part of the process my old cassettes saw the light of day for the first time in 20 years. It's far from the lot but what I have left is like a bit of a time capsule.
I was a bit late to CD's so it covers up to around 90/91 (age 16) and is a pretty good representation of what I listened to in primary and secondary school. It basically mirrors my current taste - everything from early Bryan Adams to Annihilator. The bands over represented there (VH, Ozzy, KISS,Malmsteen Savatage etc....) show where I was focused most.
Here's a photo (rough alpha order) I just took for posterity. Dunno whether to chuck 'em or not....... Memories...........
I'm pretty sure in among the blankies there's a demo I played on and shopped around (with no success) - that'll be interesting if it plays . Some of the compilation tapes I made are pretty amazing to look at too - hours in front of the radio recording/dubbing etc.....
