1. Violet
2. Green
3. Black
4. Orange
5. Red
6. Blue
7. Yellow
8. White
9. Indigo

I think this is my order. A lot of the colors have a couple tracks I love and a couple I'm fairly lukewarm about, so it's hard to decide how to order them.

Hey guys, what's the significance of the static noise on The River North? Is it supposed to be rain, or what?

I always just sort assumed it was there for atmosphere and to give it an "old time" feel.  Kinda of brings you into the turn of the century, which is when the story takes place.

In other news, I'm hearing that a tour with Manchester Orchestra in the works for the fall.  So that'd be pretty swell... :)

After more time with TCS, Red is surprisingly good.

You should fix that ASAP. It's short, easy to digest, and very very good.

Personally I still think TCS is the best of them, probably because it's also the most diverse of the four and it feels like they really rose to the challenge of creating something distinctly un-TDH.  I love it when a band can do that, sorta like Linkin Park did.

II = III > I > TCS

Thought they're all great. I can never choose between Acts II and III. They're both brilliant.

..although I must say that it feels really odd to be ranking TCS against the acts.  It's such a different animal entirely.

Although all of them are fucking good.

Act I is phenomenal, but Act II is so absurdly perfect.  There's just SO much to that album.

The Color Spectrum is the best album of year for me. I fully intend to check out more Dear Hunter. I regret not listening to them sooner.
