I'm expecting the final update no earlier than September 1, 2011.

Sorry, I've been trying to write it up and I legitimately just don't know what to say.

- Ian Sigsworth on Backstreet Boys Millennium album.

There. Done.
I felt its length in quite a few places.

I'm serious. My grandmother bought it for me when I was a little kid. I loved it then and I love it now.

I enjoy music for music's sake. I don't listen to it but once a year because the genre is not really much for me anymore at all, but once in a while I spin that album and it's great.

1. Kayo Dot - Choirs of the Eye: I have tried time and time again to make a really good write up for this, but I really truly couldn't, so I'm just gonna type out something and post it to get this shit done with. Simply put, Choirs of the Eye is my favorite album ever, and still one of the most unique and magical listens I've ever experienced. Combining elements of jazz, metal, post rock, and spatterings of a half a dozen other styles, Choirs is an incredible musical achievement. Numerous 'avant garde' bands combine genres, but the result is often a cut and paste type sound. Listening to a song you can say "oh, here's the metal bit", and "oh now here's a some jazz", etc. etc. With Choirs, the result is simply a new sound - even going from ethereal soundscapes to metal/screamo, it sounds as if it would be strange of them to not do such a transition. That's something I can't say about many other bands or albums, and even out of the ones I can Choirs of the Eye reins supreme.

Well, that's all folks. Sorry for all the delays and general bullshit. If you haven't listened to Choirs of the Eye do it right the fuck now.

Is the album longer than four hours?  Because that's when you have to seek medical attention.

Bummer. But hey, that's what you get for coming to a Dream Theater Forum in hopes of a good time with a hooker.
