God, the footage from this show. I love the energy from the crowd.

One gripe: James sang "A shell of what things MIGHT have been" in Beneath the Surface >< Also there seems to be a part in TSCO I think where his mic suddenly shut down for 3-4 words.

The two "gripes" you mentioned are actually deliberate. Since its first performance, Beneath The Surface had "might" instead of "could", and the "found out what all of this means" is intentionally whispered by James. I'm not sure if this makes the line audible by the audience (the fact that it's not on low quality recording doesn't imply that the same goes for human ears), but the theoretical result is not bad.

Regarding BTS, I thought it was just a mistake he makes occasionally, not something he just does all the time. My bad then.

Regarding TSCO, in the recording I found, all I heard was "I found out...this means", maybe it's just the recording then. But it really sounded like he tried to sing it and it just wasn't audible, cause he also whispered "this means" and those words were audible. But then again, you're probably right and it's just the poor quality footage messing with my mind.

Is Nekov going tonight as well?

If not, is anyone posting the setlist so that I might complain?

I am. You can whine all night again  ;)

It's like 4 and a half hours until the show starts, right?
Unfortunately I guess I'll have to catch up on it when I wake up :(

I'm hoping for these swaps! Is everyone assuming they will play Wait for Sleep and Far From Heaven after the string quartet last night?

6:00 --> Caught in the Web
TDEN --> Forsaken
TROAE --> These Walls
Test/War --> Through My Words/Fatal Tragedy

THIS!  (although I don't think they're playing TGD anymore  :( )

Nekov

There should be at least one more swap. They didn't play BMU BMD yesterday

bosk1

Yeah, but that's assumed.  I think he was only talking about non-ADTOE swaps.

Yeah those seemed like they would be the most reasonable switches. It might not be equal in time,  but I'm going with a more realistic route.

I'd expect BMU BMD to be played. I remember JP or JLB saying they planned to play an entire album over the two nights. Should've said we plan play ADTOE in its entirety because playing any other full album wouldn't make sense.

Nekov

That would be the most awesome thing but I doubt it. I would really like if they also changed the second half of the show, not just the first but we'll see. I'm still waiting for all the surprises.

Having watched a few of the vids on the 'Tube, I gotta say that:

1) JLB has been so impressive all tour but his performance here on TROAE is just phenomenal.

2) Mangini has managed to pull off one of his best solos from the tour.

3) I cannot watch Metropolis without a huge smile on my face. And Jordan's hat is awesome!

I know videos are not allowed here for this specific show, but this post is gonna bug me forever now as I can't find footage from TROAE. Still, everything I've seen was phenomenal too.

Edit: found it. That performance was very Score of James, lol.

This is almost do-able, except TGP, Home, and TMOLS are all quite out there in terms of chances. Swap TMOLS for Lost Not Forgotten, Home for The Spirit Carries On, and TGP for Bridges In The Sky and then that set is definitely in the cards, imho (although in a different order). I would kill to see The Glass Prison, though.

They NEED to play it on the next tour to represent SDOIT. They've played every other song on SDOIT (with the exception of Disappear) since the 20th Anniversary tour with the exception of TGP. It is TGP's turn to shine!

I'm willing to go out on a limb and say, "ain't happening."  :lol

However, I did recall earlier that there is one other SDOIT song they played early in the tour:  Misunderstood.  I doubt that'll resurface, but since it's at least been played with Mangingi in the band, there's at least an outside shot.

O.O When did they play that? I only recall them playing The Great Debate.

I was being rather optimistic when I said that.  :lol

And when did they play Misunderstood? I thought they have only been playing The Great Debate and War/Test for this world tour.

Oops, my bad.  I checked the set lists, and I guess they didn't play it.  For some reason, I thought they did it on the first European run.
