Agreed. Some of the band's absolute best material is on here. The problem is that the album is so damn inconsistent. I can't think of any other album that has such a huge chasm in quality between the best songs on it and the worst songs on it. It's like they wrote half of their best album ever and half of their worst album ever, then slapped the two together.

I’m one of the weird people that doesn’t have a problem with any of the songs. I get that it’s different and I don’t mind that. I noticed it in first listen, but it never turned me off of it. I really have no issues with any of the songs on the album.

THAT one's my favorite DT album.

It is a bit inconsistent, but I still enjoy every song and it's one of the few DT albums that's greater than the sum of its parts, to me.

I'm with you on that. I do recognize the flaws, for sure, but I love the album as a whole. Heck, it's in my DT top 5! 

That said, there are a few songs that were excluded from it that (I personally think) could've been switched for some that were included to make an even better (single) album.

I'm glad you like it.  For me it's much more inconsistent and maddening in its flaws than Falling Into Infinity.
