It keeps going.
So today was my outgoing supervisor's last day. His last job was to go over payroll after I did so, and make me aware of any mistakes, and then he was supposed to send it off to the main office, as I was off on Wednesday and Thursday. I did it on Tuesday. Let him know where it was and to call me if he sees any issues.
He never touched it on Wednesday and just flat out didn't show up today. So I got a call from the Payroll manager at 11AM asking me where payroll was. I wound up having to do it all again from home and send it in. The funny thing is HE never inputs his hours into our system, but just manually writes it out and sends it in to the Payroll Manager. Since he never submitted his hours, he's not going to get paid tomorrow. He's going to have to call the office and they'll cut him his final check once he confirms his hours with them.
Serves him right.
