I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

My old supervisor came by to see how things were going.. and now I am finally sitting down to eat lunch. I'm kind of annoyed though as I just received a text from a friend / employee who was coming BACK to work for us super part time indicating that she might not be able to after all.. and her first shift is tomorrow morning.

Jay that stuff happens all the time.  I just got a guy that his background took less than 2 weeks but when I called him to tell him he's hired he got another job.  I thought I had that position all set.  Nope.  Back to the drawing board.

I can't even be mad at her. She left here originally because she was picked up by our county (similarly to myself). She works in the Library System and gets bounced around between several of the small libraries with various hours. She was coming back as a favor to me. I just wish she'd give me a definite answer, since if she can't work tomorrow, I'm going to have to come in on my day off and cover.

And in other news, I have my night shift lead asking me for a Recommendation Letter. Which I put off writing until now. It's not for another job per say, but he's coach for a high school wrestling team during the day, and he got into a little bit of trouble (unrelated to the wrestling team)... and has to petition to get his coaching position back. 

I just don't know how to even start :lol

I mean... I think I have it, but still...

Yup. 12th row and pretty much dead center for $150 (plus fees). Face was I think $250. I actually found someone selling 7th row center on CL for $150, but I would have had to go to the Bronx to pick up the ticket.
