Yeah, I suppose that'd be a hemisphere thing. Because your long vacation is in the summer which for you is December-March. Our long vacation is also in the summer, but for us that's May-August.

Well your Winter is really warm right? Ours goes from end of Aug/beginning of Sept to end of May/beginning of June. June-August are our hottest months. We also have a Winter break of 2 weeks nad a Spring break around Easter for 1 week.

We have 4 real seasons. Winter is sometimes under -15 celsius cold and summers are really hot (to 35 celsius). And last week it rained and it was cold but now it's already too hot

As for vacations, mine are from around mid June until the start of September, and I know in Spain they skip pretty much all the regular school vacations like spring break and the like and instead have one HUGE summer vacation (like 4 months or something). Don't know if I'm a fan of that, I like my vacations spread out.
