Dat debut ![:hefdaddy](https://www.dreamtheaterforums.org/boards/Smileys/default/hefdaddy.gif)
Damn, haven't listened to this in a while.
I'm only just discovering the full album recently. I remember hearing Joker & The Thief on the radio when it came out & I knew Woman from guitar hero, but it's cool to hear how much more the album has to offer than just those tracks. Dimension is especially awesome ![:metal](https://www.dreamtheaterforums.org/boards/Smileys/default/headbang.gif)
It's just a great, great album which brings back many memories of a great time in my life! Cosmic Egg was such a disappointment for me though. You're right about Dimension being ![:metal](https://www.dreamtheaterforums.org/boards/Smileys/default/headbang.gif)
I think Cosmic Egg definitely had some great tracks, it just doesn't feel as raw or aggressive as the debut (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). It still doesn't match up to the debut, but it's only a slight bit off for me. 10,000 feet & Violence of the Sun are heavy as hell.
That said, apparently New Crown is pretty bad, so I don't know how I'm going to react to that one.
Btw, if you haven't heard the debut in a while, there's a 10th anniversary edition up on Spotify with a lot of the demos. The early demo for Woman is pretty funny in retrospect.
