king crimson: it's a bit of an immediate album that loses its luster after a pretty small number of listens but it's still pretty solid, way more interesting than other prog rock around the time tbh. providence is kinda lame though
spectral lore: oh man. talk about a diverse and compelling release. i think i prefer the second disc, the last two tracks are my favorite on the entire album, but the whole thing is really quite solid and goes by a lot faster than you'd expect a nearly 90 minute album to. even the tracks that aren't as interesting are still plenty enjoyable to listen to. i don't *love* love this (yet) but it's one of the better BM releases I've checked out this year for sure
thy catafalque: was a little hard on this at first, giving it more listens and it's really pretty solid. not the best thy catafalque album but i probably like it more than at least tuno. and it's a weird sort of meta-album in that there's a lot of reprises of stuff from previous albums but done in an interesting enough way and alongside a lot of new stuff too to not just be a complete retread. the 20 minute song is a bit meh though, tbh
