It was definitely much more "realistic" in that regard. It was done well within the story arc and fit nicely within everything, but felt somehow different from the rest of the main movies. It didn't have the grandiose sense of scale and surreality the others had. That isn't a criticism, just an observation.

Yea, I think that was intentional. I think they'll leave that for the Star Wars films, and the side movies will be different in feel. I expected that going in, but I've noticed a ton of people reacted badly to the movie because it wasn't as fun/whimsical and huge in like the proper Star Wars films.

I thoroughly liked the different direction. And I also know they went back and reshot a bit to make it more "Star Wars appropriate" by Disney exec standards.

This story shouldn't have had the same.feel as the main films, I think it was a good choice. It kept it a part of it, without trying to overtake it.

Quite the opposite actually, from what I've read.

From what I gathered, the original ending found at least the two main characters surviving, the re-shoots involved killing everyone off. Very not-Disney.

Me too but Shortness of breath, nasal drip, feels like asthma, it's difficult to breath right now. I fought a cold for 3 week and I bet it settled in my lungs.

Joe, you'd be there whatever position you held. It amazes me how many people I have that have no issue banging in. Holiday week? Doesn't matter. Inventory week? Doesn't matter. Nothing pisses me off more.

That was the worst thing when I worked at the last hotel, we had some exceptional housekeepers which is near impossible to find and we couldn't give them any raise. It was always minimum wage so I'd try to get them lunches and breakfast as frequently as possible.
